Made in China, groomed by Utah. My name is Hui (Fei), a resident of Salt Lake City. I received my BFA from University of Utah. Academic drawing is the foundation of my practice. While in the program I was heavily influenced by John Erickson. Currently I am studying under David Dornan. I continue my art education with many artists I admire, such as Paul Davis, Kevin Chen, and Mike Hernandez.

Paul Davis once told me that painting is about light—I couldn't agree more. But sometimes, I make satirical or funny stuff.
