About

My name is Fei, a resident of Salt Lake City. I received my BFA of Illustration from University of Utah. Academic drawing is the foundation of my practice. I am fortunate to learn from many gifted and hard working artists.

Paul Davis (one of my teachers) once told me that painting is about light—I couldn't agree more. My interests are many, but one thing remains consistent is that I love to illustrate things or people under different quality of light. I always find those circumstances fascinating. Light is magical.

Feel free to email me about art, life, or questions. Take care.
